LN Function Explained

The LN function in Microsoft Excel returns the natural logarithm of a number. The natural logarithm of a number is its logarithm to the base e, where e is an irrational and transcendental number approximately equal to 2.718281828. The syntax for the LN function is LN(number), where number is the positive real number for which you want the natural logarithm.
