INTERCEPT Function Explained

The INTERCEPT function in Microsoft Excel calculates the y-intercept of a given linear regression. It takes two arguments: the known_y's and the known_x's, which are the arrays of dependent and independent data points used to calculate the linear regression. The INTERCEPT function returns the y-intercept of the linear regression line.
