IMARGUMENT Function Explained

The IMARGUMENT Function in Microsoft Excel returns the argument (the angle) of a complex number in radians, given in the form of x + yi or x + yj. The argument is the angle between the positive real axis and the point representing the complex number in the complex plane. The angle is given in radians between -π and π, excluding -π.
