HEX2DEC Function Explained

The HEX2DEC Function in Microsoft Excel converts a hexadecimal number to a decimal number. It takes one argument, a hexadecimal number, and returns the decimal equivalent.

  • number: The hexadecimal number you want to convert. Number must be entered as text, enclosed in quotation marks or preceded by an apostrophe.
