CHISQ.INV.RT Function Explained

The CHISQ.INV.RT Function in Microsoft Excel returns the one-tailed probability of the chi-squared distribution. It takes two arguments: the chi-squared value and the degrees of freedom. It is used to determine the probability that the observed variance in a sample is due to chance.

CHISQ.INV.RT Function Syntax

  • probability: The probability associated with the chi-squared distribution. Must be a value between 0 and 1.
  • deg_freedom: The number of degrees of freedom associated with the chi-squared distribution. Must be a positive number.
