The STDEV.P
Function in Microsoft Excel calculates the standard deviation of a population based on a sample of numbers. It takes in a set of values as its argument and returns the standard deviation of the population as a decimal value.
STDEV.P Function Syntax
STDEV.P(number1, [number2], ...)
- number1: The first number, cell reference, or range of numbers for which you want to calculate the standard deviation.
- number2: (optional) Additional numbers, cell references, or ranges of numbers for which you want to calculate the standard deviation.
