STDEV Function Explained
The STDEV
function in Microsoft Excel calculates the standard deviation of a population based on a sample of numbers. It takes up to 255 arguments, which can be numbers, cell references, or ranges. The standard deviation is a measure of how spread out the values are in a data set.
STDEV Function Syntax
STDEV(number1,[number2],...)
number1
: The first number or range of numbers for which you want to calculate the standard deviation.number2
