N Function Explained
The N()
function in Microsoft Excel is used to convert a value to a number. It takes any value as an argument and returns a number if the value is a number, or a #VALUE!
error if the value is not a number. It is useful for ensuring that a value is a number before performing calculations on it.
N Function Syntax
N(value)
- value: The value you want to test. If value is not numeric, N returns the #VALUE! error value.
