GAUSS Function Explained
The GAUSS
function in Microsoft Excel is used to calculate the probability of a random variable following a normal distribution with a given mean and standard deviation. It returns the probability that the random variable is less than or equal to a given value.
GAUSS Function Syntax
GAUSS(x, mean, standard_dev)
- x: The value for which you want the distribution.
- mean: The arithmetic mean of the distribution.
